How to make a healthy pizza?
- If you make your own pizza at home instead of buying pizza from the store, you can be sure that it will be healthier.
- Use whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour.
- Make sure all ingredients are organic.
- Don’t use canned tomato sauce. If you can’t make your sauce at home, use organic, glass jar pizza sauce.
- Do not add sugar to your pizza sauce.
- Use olive oil for the pizza sauce and as a topping
- Use as many vegetables as possible.
- Make sure the crust of the pizza is thin. This way you will use less flour. A good pizza should have a thin crust.
A pizza prepared in this way will be healthier than standard pizzas, store-bought pizzas, and those ordered from pizzerias. You can be sure that most of the pizzas you buy outside have unhealthy ingredients and unhealthy additives.
I know you’re lazy, you don’t want to deal with all these details, but at the same time, you want to eat healthily. I know. You make excuses to yourself, “organic products are expensive”, “I don’t have time”, etc… Pick up the phone, press a few buttons, your greasy, high-calorie, cheese-stretching pizza arrives at your feet and you can enjoy it on the couch.
