  • 400 grams Green Lentils
  • 1 Carrot (Big)
  • 1 Potato (Big)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Flakes (Mild r hot)
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 1 Onion (Yellow or red)
  1. Cook the lentils.Lentil stew recipe

    Cook the lentils over medium-high heat for 15 minutes, drain and set aside.

  2. Sauté onions

    Heat the oil over medium heat and sauté the onion for 4-5 minutes or until it softened.

  3. Add the carrot and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Add the potatoes and sauté for another 4-5 minutes

  5. Add the lentils, tomato paste, salt, black pepper, chili flakes and cook for another 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
