PETA’s partner organizations are supported by more than 9 million people around the world. Other partner organizations are active in Asia, Australia, France, Great Britain, India, Switzerland Germany, and the Netherlands.

It also promotes a vegan lifestyle and campaigns against eating meat, fishing, murdering pest animals. It also fights again cockfighting, dogfighting, beekeeping, and bullfighting.

PETA Australia was founded in 2008 as a result of the success of our affiliates’ anti-mulesing activities and Australians’ demand for information on animal welfare concerns. Public education, cruelty investigations, research, legislation, celebrity involvement, and protest activities are all used by PETA Australia.


PETA India was founded in Mumbai in January of 2000. It operates on the simple premise that animals are not ours to experiment on, consume, wear, or use for entertainment.
