How To Make Apricot Jam | Apricot Jam Recipe

In this post I would like to show you how to make apricot jam.

 

Ingredients (for a small batch)

  • 500 gr apricots
  • 1 cup sugar (200 gr)

 

 

Preparation:

 

Step 1.

Wash the apricots and  quarter them.

 

 

 

Step 2.

Place the apricots in a small pot and add sugar.

Cover the apricots with sugar as you can see in the picture. Close the lid and wait 3 hours at least.

 

After 3 hours it should look like this:

 

Step 3.

Place the pot on medium-high heat until the mixture comes to a boil.

When the mixture boilsreduce the heat.

Step 4.

Cook over low heat for 30-40 minutes, until the consistency of a loose jam. Stir occasionally and remove the bubbles.
